I hope your weekend was exactly how you wanted it to be! Mine was definitely adventurous and fun, and it’s kind of not over with yet, well for me anyway. Today I am leaving to go out of town for a couple of days for a secret, but very exciting project I am working on. It is something I have dreamed about for some time and hope to be able to share with you very soon, sorry to leave you hanging. I am hoping to post an “update” section to my weekly blog post to keep you updated on all the happenings going on in my life (maybe you care, maybe you don’t).
The biggest update probably has to do with the wedding. We went looking around for venues this weekend, which was so much fun! I ended up finding a venue I really like and am hoping to seal the deal this week. It makes everything seem so real! Oh yeah I guess I could share the date since I don’t think I have yet, oops! Our official date is October 8, 2016! It is a little further away than I had hoped, but we are having a Catholic wedding so the priest prefers 6 months of preparation. That is probably the biggest wedding update so far, but I will keep you posted! Any questions? Let me know!
As for today’s post, I wanted to share this look that I would consider my favorite Transition to Spring, Everyday Look! It is so me because it is simple, affordable, wearable, and chic all at the same time! If the weather is still kind of cold where you live, opt for a thin sweater that is lighter in color, as well as some light wash jeans. These are my favorite because they are my favorite color, blush pink! Pair it with some adorable open-toe booties, and some cute earrings and you’re good to go! I hope you all enjoy this look. Be sure to let me know your thoughts! Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @rachelnwells for more photos from my trip this week, if you’re interested!
