First, take a moment to admire this amazingly beautiful photo…
…okay now we can get started!
Hey Everyone! I hope you have had an amazing, happy, and fun Tuesday!
If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, then you probably saw me mention a styled senior session a week or so ago. I was so excited that Rachel included me in on this shoot and asked me to do hair/makeup and help style, because of course I love doing it. I am going to share a little bit about our day, how we got the look, and some of the amazing photos that were taken by my sister-in-law and super talented photographer from Rachel Wells Photography! Be sure to check out Rachel’s Website and follow her on Instagram @rachelwellsphoto to see more of her beautiful work!
For this shoot, Rachel wanted it to truly reflect her photography style. We decided we wanted to completely style the look head to toe, but first we needed the perfect upcoming Senior in the Bristol, VA area. Luckily, Rachel found Erin! She was beyond perfect for this shoot, because she is naturally gorgeous (I’m sure you already knew that from the first pic) and so easy going and fun to work with! Rachel asked her to bring some cream or blush clothing if she had any, and we definitely hit the jackpot, because she literally brought everything we had imagined. Along with the perfect attire, Rachel found the perfect vintage bike, and the perfect hat. Needless to say, the look, the style, the location, and the whole idea turned out perfect!
For makeup and hair, we kept it very natural and pretty. Just like the shoot, and just how I like it! I did a very natural, light brown eye look just to contour her eyes and make them really stand out in the photos, along with soft pink lips and very loose curls.
Makeup Used: NAKED Basics Palette, MAC Pigment in naked, L’OREAL Infallible Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner, Maybelline New York Falsies Volum Express Mascara, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, Maybelline New York Great Lash Clear Gel, Bobbie Brown Blush in Apricot, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in elusive, NYX Butter gloss in Tiramisu, Bare Minerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener, Benefit Porefessional Primer, Maybelline New York Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation, Makeup Forever HD Powder, and NARS Bronzer in Laguna.
For the outfit, we wanted a vintage look. Erin was spot on with a pretty cream dress for her first outfit and a cream tank and blush shorts for her second. We paired it with a cute straw hat, which is what Rachel was dying to use in the shoot! Along, with long, delicate, gold necklaces and even a flower crown!
My sister Hannah and I got in on the fun! How could you not want to wear that hat or ride that adorable bike?!
I hope you all enjoy the look and all the beautiful photos of Erin, along with me and my sister clowning around during the shoot. I definitely had such a fun time and thank Rachel so much for including Hannah and I in on the shoot! Don’t forget to check out rachelwellsphotography.com and follow Rachel on Instagram @rachelwellsphoto. Also, I will list the makeup I used on Erin under one of the photos!
